Shane Woods is Strategic Development Manager at NWP where he is responsible for developing all commercial aspects of the business and acts as key point of contact in all aspects of new business development. Shane established and continues to develop the Waste Electrical business, which has grown to become the leading WEEE processing plant across the island, serving over 100 sites. Shane has been with NWP for seven years having previously worked in Bombardier as a Production and Process Engineer. Since joining NWP, Shane has undertaken significant research work to help NWP understand the needs and legislative requirements when working within the waste management sector. Shane is highly experienced and holds an Engineering Degree from Queen’s University Belfast and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management, Irish Waste Association and the Irish Federation of Small Businesses.
